Through Guy’s Eyes – Becoming the ONLY ONE in your industry

Balancing the logic and magic left brain right brain

In my last blog I spoke about transactional leaders vs transformational leaders. Far too many leaders are still stuck in the 20th Century ways of trying to motivate employees from the top. It’s a defunct and obsolete way to get the best out of your people and it simply does NOT work. Even the ‘Carrots-and-sticks’ method has been totally debunked, and yet so many transactional leaders continue to bang on the same old drum, unenlightened to a whole new way of driving organisational success.

There are specific psychological reasons for this: whereas motivation is temporary, inspiration is permanent. This applies as much to individuals as it does to group dynamics.

Blueprints are currently engaged with seven clients, four of whom have tens of thousands of employees. Happily all four CEOs are transformational leaders, but there is also a pragmatic realisation that you just cannot connect with the hearts and minds of such masses – hourly and daily – in the same old way.

Motivation is temporary
Inspiration is permanent
Purpose drives inspiration
Find and live your purpose.

Let us show you how to balance the logic and the magic to become the ONLY ONE in your industry.
