Through Guy’s Eyes: Corporate Love Conquers All – Post Valentine’s
Quick, what’s the opposite of love?
Before you roll your eyes at the obviousness of this question, let me inform you that the opposite of hate is law. Yes, really. When you think about it, hate is the desire to cause someone harm and law is the structure which restricts that.
But what about love? Well, in a word, it’s opposite is fear.
That’s because love and fear are, really, the only two driving forces in life – for the individual or the collective. Blueprints’ customers understand this, as they see their own unique Formulas, visible as art, every day. They are reminded, hundreds of times a day, what forms of love or fear could create or destroy their objectives at any given point. Consciousness of their Formulas’ Top Line (numerators) keep them committed to enhancing the ‘love’, while mindfulness of their Bottom Line (denominators) alert them to the hazards of ‘fear’ which continuously need to be eradicated.
The truth is that every organisation is awash in love and fear – equally. What’s more, every organisation (just like every individual, group dynamic or country) has a psyche, which may be split by these polarising forces. Unless, that is, one seeks to eliminate the fear and embrace the love. In that case, the psyche becomes more integrated and the entity that emerges is stronger and more powerful than ever before. The light shadows and dark shadows are ever present. And it’s existentially essential to measure and master their forces.
This is precisely why it is so important to do what we do. Instead of allowing fear to fester, we shed a light on it. At the same time, we unearth the pockets of love within the organisation – and, once all is out in the open, it is inevitable that love conquers fear.
By using mathematics, art and measurements to make both love and fear concrete, we enable our customers to transform into a higher state of being and to become more commercially robust.
